Leadership
is the key word for a successful camp. We require -
1
leader for every 10 children who will ensure that the children -
- Do not damage the property.
- Please see that the children do not write on walls.
- Do not litter.
- Keep dorms and toilets flushed and clean at all times.
- DORMS are sleeping quarters not for playing or eating in as food stains the sheets.
- Do not move beds as they are heavy and damage the floors.
- PARK: A leader must be seen in the park as the park can be dangerous when children
get
rough. NO PLAYING IN THE PARK AFTER 7.30 PM
- BALL GAMES ONLY to be played on the field behind the hall.
- Please do not tamper with the Fire Extinguishers they are there for your safety. If any seals are broken the school will pay for refilling the extinguisher.
- MUSIC –kept at a low level so not as to disturb the neighbours. NO AMPLIFIERS
- The boundary fence on the top field is there for your protection, please do not climb the fence or make holes in the fence should the ball go into the road. Please use the gates.
- Experience has taught us that the above can be achieved with strong leadership.
TEACHERS AND LEADERS
Children are the centre
of all activities and you must bear in mind that all leaders and
teachers have come to the camp for the benefit of the children. Leaders or teachers can relax once the children have
been handed back to their parents on the day of departure. The
days you have set aside for the camp must be well organized so that
the children can leave the camp better equipped to face the future
and remember the fun time they had on camp feeling secure and loved.
We the staff at the camp have tried
to maintain a high standard by keeping the camp clean and in good
repair so that your stay with us will be an enjoyable one.
We
are an example to our children and they learn by our
example and if we can teach them to respect one another
and to respect the property of others we have taught them a
valuable lesson.
On departure the campsite must be left in the
condition it was found and in the condition
you would expect to find it on arrival.
Please
remember to pay your deposit followed by an
e-mail of deposit slip.
A
telephone call confirming this has been done would be
appreciated.
Yours
sincerely,
R
