Xmas magic show keeps kids spellbound

Magic at Froggy Pond

Wednesday, Dec 11
THE magician waved his magic wand and within seconds he had the hall full of kids spellbound and eating out of his hand.
They sang along, clapped, acted like chickens and cheered their buddies who ventured up onto the stage to paint a magic picture, then colour in the magic book.
The hall was quickly transformed into a pandoras box of magic tricks and then to crown the show the ventriloquists dummy argued, answered all the questions with a question and all he wanted to do was kiss the girls.
And he got his wish when two brave girls gave him a peck on the cheek.
The magician then had a hard time returning the dummy to its suitcase.
Then to end the show the magic rabbit was introduced and all the kids had a chance to stroke it.
I am sure that the kids will remember the excellent show for many moons to come.

First camp in December 2013

Excited arrivals

Monday, 11h30

ON Monday December 9, 2013 the first camp of the month arrived at Froggy Pond and the excited children immediately were assigned to their respective leaders and then introduced to their dormitories, before tucking into a fish and chip lunch.

Fortunately the weather played ball and the wind and rain, which has been sweeping cape Town stayed away giving the children and excellent start to the week of fun in the sun.
We are all looking forward to the special Wednesday when the Fresh Air camp trustees and guests come and meet with the children.
